What Is Teen technology Week?
Teen Tech Week is a week where we celebrate technology in all its forms. We encourage people to participate in activities that incorporate computers, MP3’s, gaming, etc.
*Teen Technology week is officially celebrated the week of March 8th. Since it conflicts with CRT’s we have moved the activities to the week of the 15th to avoid a lack of academic focus.
Help us celebrate Teen Tech Week by taking advantage of all the great technologies available. Let us know about your favorite technologies and/or websites.

2. How do your parents keep you safe / how do you keep yourself safe while online?
3. What are some things you know your friends do online that aren’t safe?
4. If you had to come up with a number one rule for staying safe, what would it be?

Scenarios: what would you do?
You received a friend request on your myspace from someone you have never met. They say they go to Escobedo, but you aren’t 100%. What do you do?
While you are playing games online, a pop up window tells you that you won a free ipod. All you have to do is fill out your personal information and sign up for an online service. What do you do? Why?
Your mom has set up a family myspace account for you and your brother to use together. You find out that your brother has his own myspace and hasn’t told your mom. What do you do.
Your best friend has been chatting with a boy/girl online for a few months. They both live here, so they start talking about meeting in person. Your friend asks you for advice; should he/she meet him/her. What will your advice be?
You find out that a girl/boy in one of your classes is upset with you and has posted on their website that they are going to confront you after school on your way home. You have a bad feeling that they want to fight. What do you do?
