Each table must be clean before your table will be released. 

Please note: During the lunch block, the hallway restrooms will be closed.   The only restrooms open will be the cafeteria restrooms. If you are in need of restroom use during the lunch block, you must obtain the red pass from your teacher, present the pass to an adult in the cafeteria before and after use.

In a cloes battle David Quitoriano won the 2010 Escobedo Geography Bee.  David won by one point on the following question-  Fort Ticonderoga, originally built in the 1750s by the French, is located in the Lake George region of which state?

The school-wide geography bee will take place TODAY after school in room 826.  Good luck to the select few who qualified.

 

The answer to the geography bee question of yesterday is………………….Haiti.

That is right.  Christopher Columbus landed his ships in Haiti on December 5th, 1492.  In all his voyages Columbus never made it to what is present day America.  So, Columbus did not really discover America.
